Milo and Gavin McInnes Leave the Proud Boys

…if the rest of America catches on to the fact that Antifa is a load of spoilt rich white kids who crumble when challenged, the Left’s attack dogs might no longer be feared. –                                                                                                                         Milo Yiannopoulos

When you bring up the term “Proud Boys” your brain might instantly reach for a slew of bad images. The media makes these people out to be far-right group of white supremacist extremist that promotes political violence – because as was stated by Milo Yiannopoulos the fabulous editor at large for Dangerous.com, the Antifa loving media sees them as a threat. Even according to Wikipedia, the organization is described as an extremist group that should be listed alongside the Ku Klux Klan. And now, Gavin McInnes – co-founder of Vice magazine – and founder of the Proud Boys has parted ways with the group. So does that mean the what the media saying is true? Is that why McInnes had to leave the group he created? Why even ask – if the media says it – how could it possibly be true?

The Proud Boys were formed as a response to left-wing political violence – most notably the noodly armed rich kids that fill the ranks of Antifa. They acted as a self-defense force whenever Antifa reared its androgynous head. Normally Antifa would walk onto the scene and start assaulting people without any consequences. The Proud Boys solved that problem.

When Antifa started throwing what they thought a punch was supposed to look like – The Proud Boys would show them how it was really supposed to go. Unlike Antifa, the Proud Boys were men with jobs and marketable skills. They knew how to do things. They knew how to win. And that’s how they got in trouble. As Milo elegantly put it:

“…remember that conservatives aren’t demonized and censored based on how Right-wing they are. They are targeted according to how effective they become. That’s why Richard Spencer and David Duke are still on Twitter, while Gavin, Laura Loomer, Roger Stone and I–some of the most popular and persuasive people in the Trump movement, none of us remotely racist–are all banned.” – Milo Yiannopoulos

The Proud Boys were fighting back against Antifa – and they were winning. And not only winning but exposing Antifa as the knobby-kneed group of spoiled brats that they were. Antifa, essentially the Storm Detachment of the Democratic party, couldn’t strike fear into the heart of conservatives and Trump supporters if they kept getting pushed back at every sign of resistance. So the members did pretty much the only thing they know how to do – they ran off and cried to daddy.

Daddy, in this case, being the liberal hate machine: the media, the left-wing politicians and even law enforcement.

The Proud Boys were given the Alt-Right label so they could be noted as white supremacists. What kind of white supremacist has black children you ask? Oh yeah, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo decided to get involved.

“So there are now black children who have a father out of work and facing prison because New York Governor Andrew Cuomo decided to make an example out of Right-wingers who dare to fight back when they are physically assaulted by Antifa.” – Milo Yiannopoulos

Keep in mind that the Proud Boys are a reactionary force to Antifa. So these men have lost their jobs and are now facing jail time because they decided to stand up to a group of domestic terrorists. Good going New York.

And it’s for that reason why noted Proud Boy supporter Milo Yiannopoulos and the founder Gavin McInnes have parted ways – not to save themselves but to save the Proud Boys.

The media is coming after this group with everything it has. It’s doing everything in its power to stomp this movement into the dust. Milo and McInnes are effective right-wing leaders themselves and have therefore gotten slandered by the media. They have since become toxic. Now its come down to either stay with the Proud Boys and let the media use their associations to bury the organization OR denounce them and stop the media’s slander campaign in its tracks.

When Milo went over the situation, he made it seem as if the game was over. He even said that the bad guys had won this round. While this is a heavy blow to be sure, it isn’t over. As long as there are people willing to step into the leadership role – and since it’s made up mostly of men, that should be easy enough – the movement will survive. And unlike other political movements, the Proud Boys don’t rely on whether or not people hear their message. Their role is much different – to protect conservatives from rampant left-wing violence.

  1. The media is privately owned. If you are a libertarian like Milo and Gavin seem to claim, then you should be fine with them adhering to whatever private policies the company has set up. That’s Capitalism.

    • The media, as mentioned here, is referred to as being unfairly biased toward a group of people. That’s why Milo and Gavin McInness have decided to distance themselves from the organization so the media cannot use them to further bash the mentioned organization.

  2. I do enjoy the way you have presented this specific situation plus it really does supply us a lot of fodder for consideration. Nonetheless, because of what precisely I have personally seen, I simply hope when the actual commentary stack on that individuals keep on point and don’t start on a tirade involving the news du jour. Anyway, thank you for this outstanding point and although I do not necessarily concur with the idea in totality, I respect your perspective.
